SMART Boards are of strong interest to schools as they have great functionality and allow the user to interface with the board with their finger and a pen. The most Popular Model for Irish Schools has being the SB 680. They have a great new affordable board the SB480 that will prove a great hit with schools this year as it come in at a great price and have great fsoftware and allows finger and pen control.

SMART Board™ interactive whiteboards engage pupils' different learning styles, whether visual, auditory or kinaesthetic. Similarly pupils with special educational needs can simply touch the surface to manipulate objects without the fine motor skills required to operate a mouse or digital pen.

As we said above the two models that schools are interested in are the new SB400 series and the SB680. If you want dual touch interactivity then the SB880 is a great board but is more expensive.

All SMART Boards feature intuitive touch screen capabilities which allow you to write, erase and perform mouse functions with your finger, or a pen.

A typical classroom fit-out comprises a Projector, speakers a wall plate to connect your laptop or Projector too and a SMART Board.
