The Fizzbook 10.1 is a lot of learning in a small netbook.
This hand-held durable device has been built to withstand the classroom environment, compact and light-weight, whilst still powerful enough to provide students with software optimised for education.
Its 10.1 inch screen is large enough to display complex activities and its spinning functionality makes it simple to share content with others. With this in mind it was designed to pass a 50cm drop test, and has a water resistant keyboard, 4.5 hour battery life, surfaces resistant to reasonable damage and improved dust resistance.
Tablet

The tablet mode means the Fizzbook Spin is useable away from a desk. Clicking and scrolling can be done with your fingertips but for more detailed entry there is a built-in stylus that sits in the design.
It includes handwriting recognition works and gives you options for joined-up or printed handwriting, or if required a virtual keyboard. All this functionality is complemented by an in built accelerometer, which rotates the screen so it is always the right way up for the person looking at it. This also means all features are available for left and right handed users.
e-book

Rather than purchasing a separate device, the Fizzbook Spin can be turned into an e-book with the addition of the appropriate software.
Using the rotating screen to turn the Fizzbook to tablet mode means pupils can then use the device with its 10.1 inch screen to read text clearly. This functionality is complemented by an in built accelerometer, which rotates the screen so it is always the right way up for the person looking at it.
Connectivity

The Fizzbook spin comes with multiple methods to connect to other computers and a software option to secure those connections. Wireless N capability gives you the very latest high speed wireless functionality, letting you make the most of this highly transportable Fizzbook.
A 10/100 Ethernet port lets you connect to wired networks, and two USB ports lets you connect to peripherals and dongles.
